Developments around the Resort
The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa is situated close to some of Dubai’s most extraordinary projects. Development of Dubai Waterfront and The Palm Jebel Ali continues to the north west of the resort with land profiling works the predominant activity. Palm Island’s crescent and the vessels associated with creating this landmass are visible from the resort at a distance and as one of the largest manmade projects ever undertaken. Guests should be aware that noise disturbances occur from time to time.
Extension & Development Update
Please note that at present and until November 2009, a 74-suite luxury extension to the Palm Tree Court & Spa is being developed along with a new restaurant, towards the western border of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa. Hoardings that screen off the work are in place and in addition to all site access being from the outside of the resort, development work to this extension which may cause audience disturbances only takes place between 10am and 6pm daily.
Please note that an extensive refurbishment programme at Jebel Ali Hotel will take place from July until late September 2009. Although Jebel Ali Hotel’s rooms and four outlets which will be closed, the 128-acre Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa (in which Jebel Ali Hotel is situated) continues to operate as normal and all leisure and sports facilities will remain open. The luxurious Palm Tree Court & Spa hotel including all its outlets will remain fully operational throughout the development period and it is not anticipated that there will be any significant impact on guests staying at Palm Tree Court & Spa.
