Dubai, UAE, 24th May 2009 – One of Dubai Marina’s most impressive landmarks, the Oasis Beach Tower, will soon enhance its existing 180 luxury serviced apartments with an impressive array of additional facilities. The 245-metre tower overlooking the Arabian Gulf and connected to the Al Fattan Marine Tower, will welcome its own standalone all-day dining restaurant, namely Thyme, from 1st July 2009. The contemporary Mediterranean restaurant with its live cooking stations will be able to cater for 174 guests and will feature three semi-private areas for groups and meeting delegates. On the corporate front, five fully equipped conference rooms on the second floor of Oasis Beach Tower will provide meeting space for up to 100 delegates from July 2009. Equipped with wi-fi, built-in ceiling mounted data projectors and video conference facilities, the meeting room section also includes a pre-function area and lounge. As part of the facility’s launch, the Oasis Beach Tower will offer complimentary conference room hire for all charity organisations requiring meeting space between July and September. “The new meeting rooms and restaurant will be a welcome addition to the Oasis Beach Tower’s existing facilities and service offerings,” said Martin Weber, General Manager of the Oasis Beach Tower. “Our apartments have proved immensely popular in the past for sports teams, wedding groups, musical bands and theatrical troupes. I am sure the new facilities will further assist our corporate business development activities and increase our ability to be competitive in this segment.” Oasis Beach Tower is a member of Jebel Ali International Hotels, the leading hospitality company that manages several of Dubai’s most distinctive hospitality properties.
